Artisan Market

What is it? The New Creatives Artisan Market is running in conjunction with our Vivid Ideas multi-modal exhibition on Thursday June 6 2019 from 11am to 5pm*. It’s an opportunity to support emerging creative talent and help them to explore how to sell their creative output.

How do I get involved? Schools and individuals can apply for a stall at the Urban Codes Artisan markets in April 2019. Students can sell their hand-made wares, art, photographs, zines, ceramics, fashion homewares and more. (*While the markets will be open until 5pm stalls can be booked for lunch time only for visiting school groups.)
Student groups will be provided with one trestle table and 2 chairs. Stallholders provide their own table coverings and decorations. Also, a gentle reminder to bring price stickers and a black marker, as it is a very good idea to clearly mark your products with the price.
Please remember to bring plenty of change. There is an ATM in the TAFE canteen, which of course only dispenses notes. If your stall holders number more than 2 people, please organise a roster for 'manning' your table. There should always be at least one member of your team at your stall at all times.
