Student Development Unit

 The Student Development Unit (SDU) works in partnership with Learning Diversity, teaching staff and administration to identify the collective and individual needs of Bradfield students. 

The SDU provides a nurturing environment within the Learning Centre, where all students have access to:

  • A quiet workspace equipped with computers, school resources and materials
  • Casual drop-in sessions to connect with general support, advice etc.
  • Connection to Bradfield and TAFE support services: Counselling unit, Disabilities unit 
  • Organisation of group study sessions
  • Weekly student-led clubs
  • Student representative council weekly meetings
  • Administration of Disability Provisions
  • Administration of Minimum Standards tests
  • Advice regarding career pathway options and post school education

The SDU is also responsible for delivery of the Certificate II in Workplace Skills and Study Skills programs, and the YES program (Year 11 Preparation).
