The Student Development Unit (SDU) manages the Certificate II in Workplace Skills program.
The program, a variety of practical, collaborative experiences, is delivered through our unique Friday project in conjunction with a two-hour weekly lesson. The program includes a 35-hour mandatory work placement where students can practice the interpersonal and employability skills they have developed.
By the completion of this course, students gain a qualification and experience in the workplace as well as the confidence and tools to explore future career and study pathways, seek employment and prepare required documentation.
Ensuring you achieve your HSC is our priority, however we also believe in preparing you for life after the HSC. You will learn about education, training and work, job seeking preparation, workplace communication and resume writing.
