The focus for this course is on game design fundamentals

You will learn skills to create games as well as teamwork, project management and communication.

When you finish this course you may be eligible for advanced standing in a range of TAFE IT Certificate IV and Diploma courses.

2 units Preliminary and/or 2 units HSC

35 hours work placement per year

Course topics

You will become familiar with the process of games production, learn how to create art assets and be introduced to animation and games design.

The projects in this course will ensure that you gain practical skills that can be used in game development beyond the course and when you complete you may be eligible for advanced standing in a range of TAFE Information Technology Certificate IV and Diploma courses.
