NSW Education Minister announces HSC revamp
An HSC revamp was announced by NSW Education Minister Adrian Piccoli yesterday. The news that there will be capped assessments to help reduce stress and over assessment in schools was welcomed by College Director Meredith Melville-Jones.
"I am pleased to see that the Board of Studies is responding to the needs of today's learners by making reforms to the HSC," Ms Melville-Jones said.
"The initiative will be statewide in 2020, and includes strategies to improve take-up of STEM subjects which are critical for the workforce of today and the future. This is aligned with what Bradfield is undertaking presently with our Creative Careers Day and Industry Experience Program," she said.
