Alumni story - Kimberley

For Kim the decision to move schools wasn’t made lightly. But she knew there was more to life than being unhappy and feeling out of place.

“I struggled to find my place in the ‘regular’ school system. I never fitted in and was bullied,” says Kim.

In spite of bad experiences at her previous school, Kim was passionate about learning art and design and wanted to achieve TAFE Certificates while completing her HSC.

Bradfield ticked all the boxes.

"What I enjoyed most about studying at Bradfield was the freedom to learn in a way that suited me. The hands-on, practical learning, and the amazing support of the teachers who always believed in everyone," says Kim.

Life after Bradfield

Since leaving the sunny climes of St Leonards, Kim has graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Communications - Advertising and a Diploma in International Marketing. She has also travelled to Nepal and China and trekked to Everest base camp.

“I am now working and living in New Zealand. I work for Casio on a range of marketing and advertising campaigns for brands like Baby G, GShock, Edifice as well as Pioneer Robinhood and a few other brands as a Creative Sales and Marketing Assistant,” says Kim.
