You will learn to develop your artistry through performance and composition and appreciate the works of seminal choreographers.
Our dance teachers Janet Ashiabor and Angelique Mavromatis are renowned for their expertise and results. Students come from all over Sydney to dance at Bradfield and are consistently awarded with HSC Callback Exemplary nominations.
In 2024, Bradfield students received a collective 29 Callback nominations, including 7 Triple Nominees (Core Performance, Core Composition, Major Study Performance).
Our HSC Dance students perform their HSC works at Dance Night in preparation for their HSC practical exam. The Preliminary students showcase their choreography that they devise in groups.

Janet leads a vibrant and experienced team of teachers who support their students in achieving excellence in their chosen art forms. Janet has been teaching Dance for over 30 years. Bradfield has a record of exceptional results in HSC Dance and students regularly successfully audition and perform at Dance Callback. Students of Dance flourish under Janet’s guidance.
